Our jewelry available right now is mainly made of stainless steel or brass plated with platinum/gold. It is a highly durable metal, allowing it to withstand the wear and tear of everyday activities. The hard metal resists scratches, corrosion, and color change due to an invisible layer of chromium that prevents oxidation. 

 

The longevity of the quality depends on how the jewelry is worn and the maintenance of it. They will tarnish more rapidly under both hot and humid conditions. Any moisture (water, sweat) or chemicals (lotion, perfume) will further the oxidation process, and make it more prone to chips and tarnishing. Sleeping with the jewelry is not recommended since it can become tangled.
